Should parents be held accountable for their child's damage?
Parents should not be held responsible for their child's damage because they should be punished for their mistakes and learn from them. they should not be punished because the kids should either pay for what they have done, community service, or time in the hall. my solution is have them pick their choice and do it for a period of time.

Should parents face jail time for missing their child's school conferences? No parents shouldn't face jail time because parents have jobs that they might have to attend to.  No because some parents don't have resources to know when a conference is. No because some parent don't have a way of transportation

Should adults have the right to carry a concealed handgun?
Yes, adults should be able to carry concealed handguns because, in the world today you would never know what is going to happen to you. Also, people should be able to carry handguns because of the bill of rights which says people are allowed to carry a fire arm. Though people are allowed to carry guns, I think that conviced felons that got charged with armed robbery or assault with a deadly weapon shouldn't be able to carry a weapon. In conclusion, I think people with out violence charges should be able to carry a concealed weapons.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 23 - Dog Fighting

Should dog fighting be illegal? Yes dog fighting should be illegal because it's cruel and inhuman. Also I feel as if someone will bet and hurt a dog they have the potential to do it to a minor even if they have distinct features. People run dog fights because is a formula to earn money. I think everyone who goes to a dog fight, knows about dog fights, and runs dog fights should be fined or sentenced to time in jail. In conclusion, dog fights should be illegal so dogs could live their life without being beat.

Should felons be allowed to vote? I think felons should be allowed to vote because they have all rights to vote and be a part of our country. They also should be allowed to vote because it's against our democracy to not let them vote. Also because it wouldn't be fair to them and everyone deserves a second chance.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 21

Should performance enhancing drugs, such as steroids, be allowed in sports? I think PED's should not be allowed in sports because it's not natural, not fair to other players that don't use it, and can harm your body. I think maybe *periodicly* you can use it but I dont think it should be a *primary* option. It can really hurt you if you use it like an every day *tradition*. In conclusion I think PED's shouldn't be allowed in sports.
